This blog is to keep family and friends posted on where we are. Nothing fancy. Everyone is on different schedules so you can view and comment as you wish.

This is a private blog. It is locked down so that only invited family and friends can read and comment. You won't be posted on Face Book, etc.

So, you're reading it and there's nothing. Give us a few days to get started. We're still in a work mode helping Claire move. We start the fun part on Sunday when we head to Philly!

This is the grand plan but like all good plans, it changes at the start of the battle. Out goal is to avoid Interstates wherever possible.

We'll leave Richmond Sunday and, via Annapolis etc, go to a KOA near Philly. http://koa.com/campgrounds/philadelphia/. We plan to tour Philly and Amish Country while there.

The plan will be to leavy Philly on 5 June and go to the West Point and their camp ground. Rail service to NYC is handy there and there is a kennel for the hounds.  We'll spend a couple of days in the Big Apple.

O/A 10 June we'll head to Hanscomb Air Force Base in the Boston suburbs. That will be our base for touring Boston and surrounding historic areas.

Then things get murky. We'll probably head up into Maine and eat lobster and then cross New Hampshire to Niagara Falls. Then, who knows? We know we have to be in Charlotte to help Andi and David move (hmmm, we're getting a lot of this moving thing it seems.)
